"Terrible" 2010-07-29
By C. Harper
I was so excited to have this. It worked right out of the box on the small test fabric, but once I wound a bobbin with my own thread (which did not wind properly) and tried to run a few stitches the machine stopped working. It does not pick up the bobbin thread so it just pokes holes in the fabric. I checked everything possible, then went to the internet for help. Apparently, the issue is not me and no one seems to have the solution. A terrible terrible shame of a product and a blight on the name of Singer.

"Horrible Machine! Do Not Buy!" 2010-06-22
By E-C Porter (Columbia, SC)
This is a horrible product. I bought mine from Walmart and thought it would save me money by hemming my pants on my own. I didn't count on it costing me so much time that it would actually be more convenient to pay someone else to hem my pants. It worked a couple times really well and then I started making a baby blanket for my friend. The bobbin wouldn't thread. When I finally figured out how to shove a ruler underneath to make it catch the little needle mechanism, it has not stopped stitching altogether. I have seen so many reviews on how this machine is completely worthless and I wish I had seen them before I bought this one. I can't believe they still make this.

"got it on the cheap and love it" 2010-05-21

I picked up one of these suckers for significantly less than the price listed here, and I absolutely love it. It's finicky, but it's also ultra-portable and can run on batteries. If the foot pedal acted as a rheostat and not just an off/on switch, it'd get five stars.

"i like it!" 2010-03-31

so far i have really enjoyed using it! i did purchase a bobbin winder for my own convenience, and that does come in handy. however, i did use the machine to wind one bobbin and it worked okay for me. i use it to put finishing touches on things, love it <3

"it's not a good machine" 2009-12-04

It does not work for me either. I will return it to Target as soon as possible. Save some more money and buy a better one. I spent 6 hours today and broke two needles.
